Hi! I’m Brittny.
I am the creator, author, and home cook behind Quisine Queen B–the food blog. I may be new to the food blogging world, but I am a seasoned home cook in the kitchen. Other roles I play include being a wife to a traveling husband, a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) to an active baby, and a part-time clinical supervisor.
Food is a love language
In addition to these roles, food is also a major part of my life. In fact, in my family, food is more like a love language. It is our way of expressing love, traveling imaginatively when stuck at home, practicing daily self-care, and just celebrating life. It can heal the body and the soul, so what we eat and how it is prepared matters.
A gourmet dining experience on demand
Food should be enjoyed–not slaved over in the kitchen. Therefore, the purpose of this blog is to get you excited about cooking beautiful and nutritious meals without feeling overwhelmed. All of my recipes are created in the midst of my full life, so I hope to inspire and empower you to do the same. They are made from my typical grocery supply, a few Store-bought Winners, and practical Tips ‘n’ Tricks I’ve collected over the years that have simplified my cooking process. My goal with this food blog is for you to have increased confidence in your cooking abilities, the comfort to create freely, and what I like to call “gourmet on demand.”
